This course is designed to give you tools to understand an increasingly interconnected European and world Histories and to discuss from a critical point of view the categories of modernity and modernization and their use in the writing history. Type of Assessment
The final exams will be written. It will consist of a short essay ( 5-8 pages) based on the discussion of the textbook or the EU documents.
The students can choose to take the exam orally

The course will address the main processes of European history in the modern age in connection with a wider perspective of global history. In particular, the category of modernization and European cultural heritage will be discussed
