Oral exam. Through translation and commentary of the texts included in the syllabus will be tested the language skills and the ability to place texts in their historical and literary context. There will be also questions that test a good knowledge of the history of Latin literature from its beginnings to Apuleius.

Juvenal's sixth Satire
Besides Juvenal's sixth Satire dealt with in the lessons, the students are required to read and translate Persius' first Satire. Study of the outlines of the history of Latin literature, from its beginnings to Apuleius, is moreover requested.
