The Bachelor’s Degree Program in History and Preservation of Archaeological, Artistic,
Archival and Library Heritage (Class L-1) offers an outstanding educational pathway dedicated
to understanding, safeguarding, and promoting our cultural heritage. Designed in accordance with
modern European standards, the program provides a strong interdisciplinary foundation ranging
from archaeology to art history, as well as archival studies and library studies, including essential
insights into landscape and demo-ethno-anthropological heritage.
Through three specialized curricula - Archaeological Heritage, Artistic Heritage, and Archival
and Library Heritage - students develop the ability to interpret scientific sources and to work
concretely in the field of heritage protection and management within cultural institutions, in line with
the guidelines of the Cultural Heritage Code. The program goes beyond theory, training
professionals who are ready to communicate culture at every level and ensures solid preparation
for access to Master’s Degree programs in the field.
Our graduates naturally find employment in public and private institutions such as heritage
authorities, museums, archives, libraries, publishing, and the tourism sector. Whether in museum
curation, art market consultancy, library and archival activities, or the management of cultural
events, the program prepares versatile professionals capable of taking on positions of
